Coated Seamless
Seamless machine knit liners (string knits) are great for dipping as they provide better dexterity, fit and comfort because there are no seams to irritate the hand. These can be knitted from a variety of fibers such as nylon, cotton, Dyneema®, fibreglass and combinations or blends to obtain the physical properties desired in the finished product.
The desired knitted liners are placed on hand shaped glove molds then dipped or flow coated with various polymers such as natural rubber, Neoprene, nitrile, polyvinylchloride plastisols and polyurethane. This provides improved protective properties to the resulting gloves such as varying degrees of durability, flexibility, cut resistance and chemical protection. Some specialty coatings are also used to make dipped seamless gloves.
