Dipped PVC
Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC is the thermoplastic polymer of Vinyl and Chloride. PVC provides excellent resistance to most acids, oils, fats, caustics, petroleum hydrocarbons, alcohols and glycol ethers. PVC is relatively economical compared to other supported glove polymers and yet it provides reliable abrasion and chemical protection. The resins and plasticizers used to make PVC gloves can be carefully regulated to provide varying levels of chemical resistance. PVC gloves function well in temperatures ranging from 25° F (-4° C) to 150° F (66° C). Our Insulated PVC gloves are made with a special PVC formulation that remains flexible at temperatures as low as -32° F.
